     Dear Partners and Friends

     Our visit in Spain was a great experience as well as that in Turkey from the beginning of the year. The program of the visit was very well organized. I dare to write about Spain this time because the visit in Spain is the first one included in the Comenius Project. So, we saw very interesting places, such as Alfaro, Logroño, Zaragoza and Barcelona. Alfaro, our hosting location has quite a history from the very beginning. The stork’s phenomenon on the ancient church is very impressive. Every spring, Alfaro is visited by nearly 700 storks that make their nests inside the steeples of the church where they stay until autumn.  This phenomenon has made Alfaro very famous. Some of the storks live in the Natural Reservation of Alfaro. The landscape of that place is very beautiful. Besides storks there are other various species of birds very exquisite, too. The vegetation of the reservation is also wonderful and fills up the beauty and perfection of the place as if it’s painted by a famous painter.

     The Spanish people from Alfaro are very hospitable. We were overwhelmed by their hospitability and friendship. So, this visit was a success. A wonderful international project team was created through this project and we are very thankful for that.
